WHAT

We have existing products for reusable period products that eliminate massive amounts of waste (I won’t bore you with stats). So why are we still mostly using single use sanitary items that create enough garbage to bring you to tears?

PROCESS

I researched this for a solid year, with three different approaches. The break throughs really happened using UX design. I was luck enough to work alongside one of Australia’s leading UX designers - Francisco De Oliveira Neto.

With User Experience testing I detangled the issues of taboo, people being grossed out by their own blood, and the lack of consolidated credible info about reusable period products. From there the solutions became clear.

SOLUTION

I created the brand Womana to implement the changes the results showed. This included an easy-to-navigate information platform - with interviews of health professionals, testimonials and all your how-to’s.
