How I Shoot Product Photography Remotely (And Why It Works)
This may be nothing new to you! But if it is, let me show you how it works.

The brief
We have a call and get clear on what you need, where you are in relation to that right now, and your timeline.
Before shooting I’ll need ::
Timeframe you want finished images by
How will the images be used
Creative concept - look & feel/mood board, reference images, intention of messaging
Props
Backgrounds, locations
Possibly people to model
The products of course !
My shot list
What formats you want finished images in
Quote how long I’ll spend shooting
Not sure where to start with all of that? Never done this before? Not to worry, I can put together the creative concept and write the brief from our chat if you want. This will require more of my time and we can check in re cost before I begin. The brief may require some back and forth until we are both crystal clear and on the same page about what needs to happen!
Getting product to me
Product can be posted to me or dropped off to my place.
The shoot
Depending on the nature of the shoot, I can book in a shoot time when you'll be by your phone, so if any questions come up along my way I can shoot them over to you. It can also be helpful to send shots through to you as I go for approval.
Editing
We need our final collection of images, which may require you going over a gallery to select what to keep. Once that's decided, I'll edit! First a colour and lighting edit, then retouching - or 'cleaning' as I like to think of it. Retouching can get very wild, but it will be obvious and agreed on in the brief stage what is needed for your photos. Don't worry, I won't make things look stale and cringe. I may send you a couple of images to check in on the final image treatment if needed. Then that look gets applied to everything.
Delivery
I'll send you the images digitally for you to download.
Finito
Fly my child! I love to see my images out in the world spreading good products to the people that benefit from them.
If you’ve been putting off a shoot because of distance, let’s talk.
Also if you are looks for ongoing content creation, I have couple of spaces free at the moment.
